The Patient Care Aide works under the direction of the RN/LPN. The responsibilities of the Patient Care Aide include providing direct patient care and maintaining patient care standards. Qualifications
Education: High School/GED preferred
License, certification and/or registration: BLS required before the conclusion of the orientation period. Proof of Nursing Assistant (CNA) class completion required from a state approved program. Active certification preferred (including Certified Medical Assistant) but not required. EMT Certification accepted
