US-NY-New YorkPosted Oct 28, 2026

Company Overview

BLADE is a rapidly growing global air mobility platform utilizing a technology-powered, asset light model with unrivaled brand recognition. Blade is focused on efforts to assist the aviation industry in order to accelerate its transition from conventional aircrafts to quieter, cleaner eVTOL (Electric Vertical Take-off and Landing) Aircrafts, expand new air mobility routes, grow our network of captive passenger infrastructure, and continue to develop our consumer-to-cockpit technology stacks.

Job Overview

BLADEone is our 16-seat jet service between New York and South Florida. The Cabin Attendant is BLADE’s host on board: the person who makes a two-and-a-half-hour flight feel like the best part of a flier’s day.

This is a service role. The operator’s flight crew and safety flight attendants are responsible for the safety of every flight. You are an additional member of the BLADE team, there to deliver an exceptional hospitality experience, and you do not replace or take on any safety crew duties.

Seasonal, November 2026 to May 2027. Part-time (4 days a week) with a variable schedule, including weekends, holidays and overnight stays away from base.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an ambassador of the BLADE brand on board and set an exceptional hospitality tone for every flight

  • Prepare the cabin before boarding, receive and inspect catering, and review manifests and passenger profiles (including celebrations and pets)

  • Coordinate with lounge personnel on boarding timing and passenger flow

  • Welcome fliers by name, deliver polished food and beverage service, anticipate unvoiced needs, and maintain an immaculate cabin and lavatory environment

  • Guide fliers on BLADE services and routes while maintaining strict discretion and confidentiality regarding all passenger, guest, and company data

  • Assist fliers upon arrival, reset and restock the cabin, and oversee catering breakdown and inventory reconciliation

  • Record flier preferences in passenger profiles and promptly log service issues or irregularities in the departmental Slack channel for leadership review

  • Contribute ideas to the onboard hospitality program and support privacy-compliant photo and content capture when requested

  • Prioritize safety by following all flight crew instructions immediately and without exception, flagging operator concerns, and escalating incidents to senior management

Required

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent practical experience

  • 2+ years in a high-touch customer service or hospitality role (private aviation, luxury hotels, fine dining, members’ clubs, yachting, or similar)

  • Polished food and beverage service skills, including wine and spirits presentation

  • Strong verbal communication skills in fluent English, with poise presenting and speaking with high-profile fliers

  • Proven discretion, professional composure, and an instinct for anticipatory hospitality in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to perform with grace under pressure in confined cabin environments over extended flight schedules

  • Cultural sensitivity and comfort caring for pets traveling in-cabin

  • Ability to maintain a clean, professional appearance in accordance with BLADE uniform and grooming guidelines

  • Reliable personal transportation to Westchester County Airport (HPN)

  • Physical ability to stand, bend, reach, and move in a confined cabin for the duration of a flight and lift up to 35 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain airport security credentials

  • Willingness to complete the aircraft operator’s required safety orientation prior to the first flight

  • At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States

Desired

  • Prior experience in private aviation (Part 135 or charter operations) or ultra-luxury hospitality environments

  • Formal corporate flight attendant or cabin crew training (e.g., FACTS, Beyond and Above, FlightSafety)

  • Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification

  • Active food handler’s card, wine certification, or sommelier training

  • Professional fluency in additional languages
