Incorta is an enterprise data and analytics platform. Incorta Apps lets business users build and share AI apps on their Incorta data. As a Principal Engineer, you'll set the technical direction of the product end-to-end.
You'll work closely with product, design, and leadership to turn business goals into architecture, and you'll stay hands-on in the code.

YOU WILL

  • Own the architecture and technical roadmap of Incorta Apps, tying technical decisions to business outcomes like adoption, readiness, and cost.

  • Design and build reliable, secure, and cost-efficient platform components across AI agents, data governance, and cloud infrastructure.

  • Partner with product management, design, customer-facing teams, and customers to transform complex needs into shipped designs.

  • Operate and scale our multi-tenant cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud and Kubernetes.

  • Lead design reviews, drive high-severity incident resolution, and write critical production code.

  • Mentor senior engineers and communicate technical trade-offs clearly to leadership.

YOU HAVE

  • 9+ years of building and shipping software products, with experience as a technical lead or architect for enterprise SaaS products.

  • Hands-on experience in TypeScript/Node.js backend, React frontend, Python, and cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, GCP).

  • Proven experience building production LLM products (agents, prompts, tool calling, evaluation) and end-to-end multi-tenant architecture.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL, enterprise data governance, and data systems.

  • Excellent written and spoken communication in English to collaborate across global teams and leadership.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with AI coding agents, tooling (Claude Code, MCP, AI SDK), and low-code/no-code app builders.

  • Background in BI, analytics, sandboxing (gVisor, Firecracker), and enterprise compliance (SOC 2, GDPR).
