Purpose of Role/Summary:



The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records through the reconciliation of client and company transactions and balances, including those related to banks, PSPs, liquidity providers, client liabilities, and intercompany accounts. The role further entails the timely identification and escalation of any irregularities to management, as well as the coordination with relevant teams to facilitate effective resolution.


Main Activities and Responsibilities:


  • Daily reconciling in Excel of all the company’s bank payment methods (banks, PSPs, EMIs) with the accounting system
  • Reconciliation of MT Balances and Equity reports to ensure alignment between MT balances and equity reports through regular reconciliation, review, and investigation of variances
  • Performing Client Equity reconciliations as per the relevant regulations, confirming with the treasury team daily that adequate funds are kept segregated to cover client equity in each entity
  • Ability to identify errors and responsibility to investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Daily upload and reconciliation of company’s bank payment methods (banks, PSPs, EMIs) in the accounting system
  • Communicating with the company’s Payment, treasury and dealing departments or other relevant departments to investigate discrepancies
  • Monitor outstanding reconciliation items and follow up on pending adjustments to ensure timely closure
  • Preparation of any ad-hoc reconciliations requested by the management.



Required Skills & Experience:



  • Degree in Accounting and Finance or a Business-related field
  • 1-2 years’ experience in the Forex industry in a relevant position if the academic qualification comes from a different field other than the ones mentioned above
  • Certification in Trading/Financial services will be considered an advantage
  • English (written and spoken), Arabic language will be considered an advantage
  • Advanced Computer literacy, especially of MS Excel
  • Experience with AI tools will be considered an advantage
  • SAP experience will be considered an advantage
  • Analytical abilities and investigative skills
  • Excellent communication and monitoring skills
  • Comfortable working in a high-pressure environment and meeting strict deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify issues and following through to resolution
  • Able to adjust easily to any new product and payment method on board by the company.

  • Working hours are 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday
