Finance & Control department in Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is a part of Global Finance organization and responsible for full accounting and financial reporting cycle for Circle K European operations. Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is looking for:

Accountant

Type of Employment: temporary for 1 year

Location: Riga, Latvia 

Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided) 

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

• Perform vendor account reconciliation and analysis, resolving discrepancies and errors.
• Participate in new process development and process improvement activities.
• Process supplier invoices in Accounts payable module.
• Perform periodical closing procedures.
• Execute and document process controls related to financial compliance.
• Perform other department's functions according to a manager's assignment.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED 

• Previous experience within accounting or finance.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics or a student within this area.
• Fluency in English to communicate with colleagues in Europe.
• Previous experience with ERP (JDE experience will be considered as a plus).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Precise, analytical, organized, solution oriented and stress resistant personality.
• A self-motivated, positive mindset and the ability to work well as part of a team.
