Performance Marketing Lead

Waukesha, WisconsinFull TimePosted Oct 20, 2026

Drake & Associates is an Wisconsin-based financial planning firm that helps families retire with confidence. We're looking for a creative, sales-minded, strategy-driven marketer to own our paid media and turn digital interest into real client relationships.

Why This Role Is Different

  • Own the number, not just the ads. You'll own the strategy for growing qualified client acquisition through paid media, from budget to booked appointments.
  • Hands on the controls. You'll build, launch, and optimize campaigns directly in Google Ads and Meta rather than handing them off to an agency.
  • A full-funnel view. Your leads go straight to our Business Development team and advisors, so you'll see exactly how your work turns into new clients.
  • A clear operating system. We run on EOS, so priorities, measurables, and accountability are clear from day one.

What You'll Do

  • Own paid media strategy, channel mix, testing roadmaps, and budget allocation
  • Build, launch, and optimize campaigns in Google Ads and Meta Business Manager
  • Manage the paid media budget: forecast monthly costs, stay on budget, and reconcile discrepancies
  • Rapidly test creative, audiences, formats, and channels to improve ROI and customer acquisition cost
  • Track and report lead generation data, and partner with leadership on incrementality and efficiency
  • Write and direct copy and content plans that bring our workshops, radio, TV, and other offline programs online
  • Partner with Marketing, Business Development, and Compliance so every campaign is on-brand, approved, and converting

What You Bring

Required

  • Five or more years of experience in paid search or paid media advertising
  • Expertise in Google Ads and Meta advertising
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Looker Studio, ActiveCampaign, and Salesforce
  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and marketing automation
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to write in a variety of styles, voices, and tones
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred

  • Experience marketing financial services or another regulated industry
  • Experience working within EOS or a similar operating system

Our Values

We're guided by our core values: Creating the Ultimate Client Experience through Unreasonable Hospitality, Extreme Ownership, Embracing Our Entrepreneurial Spirit, Respecting the Family, and Working Like a Duck: calm on the surface, working hard behind the scenes. If you love building campaigns that drive real results, we'd love to hear from you.
