Shear Operator

Overview

Position Summary: Shear operator is responsible for cutting different diameters and lengths from

specified materials (steel bars) to proper length for use in induction heaters on  various forge presses within Forge Department.

Set up small or large shear.

 

Operate small or large shear.

 

.Operator Raymond lift.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

 

Ability to read and write; add and subtract whole numbers; use reading and fixed gauges.
