Assistant Management Accountant

Fever-Tree is hiring for an Assistant Management Accountant (Distribution) to join our Operations Finance team in London.

We are looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to support the UK-based Finance team. Reporting into the Finance Manager (Distribution), this role will provide valuable support across all Distribution entities.

Key responsibilities

Month-End & Internal Reporting

• Prepare various month-end calculations in an accurate and timely manner across all Distribution entities, including overheads, other COS and marketing.
• Ensure an accurate and timely month-end close on working day 5
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations in an accurate and timely manner
• Prepare and reconcile internal reports for stakeholders within the business
• Develop strong working relationships with non-Finance colleagues

Customer Pricing, Process Enhancement & Audit

• Support the global customer pricing process, ensuring customer pricing is reconciled weekly and all price changes are accurate and delivered on time
• Support with annual external and internal audit process
• Maintain detailed process documentation for all processes within remit
• Identify opportunities for consolidation, simplification and automation

Required Experience

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent ability to communicate and build relationships with various stakeholders
• Good level of proficiency in excel, able to analyse larger datasets and develop financial reports
• Good understanding of FMCG businesses
• Worked with large ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP etc.) and ability to consolidate data from various sources and use initiative to provide insights
• Quick learner with good financial acumen
• Fundamental accounting knowledge, including an understanding of accruals and prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, journal postings, and profit and loss reporting
  

This role provides someone with the opportunity to study an accounting qualification such as ATT/CIMA/ACCA
