Maintenance Technician (Lift Experience Preferred)

Description

What you'll do! 

• Keep lighting working throughout the club, including fixtures on 20+ foot ceilings, using a scissor lift or lift 

• Handle light electrical work: outlets, switches, fixture swaps, and basic troubleshooting 

• Fix restroom plumbing: toilets, flush valves, faucets, clogs • Change HVAC filters, check thermostats, clear condensate lines, and flag bigger issues to our HVAC vendor 

• Repair poker tables and chairs: felt, padded rails, cup holders, leveling, casters 

• Patch drywall, paint, fix doors and hardware, and handle general carpentry 

• Mount and troubleshoot TVs and AV equipment 

• Do light preventive maintenance on bar and kitchen equipment such as ice machines and coolers 

• Track work orders and keep management updated on repairs, parts, and vendor needs 

• Meet and supervise outside contractors when licensed trades are needed.

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial or multi-skill maintenance experience (hospitality, restaurants, retail, property management, or similar) 

• Comfortable and safe working at height; experience operating a scissor lift or aerial work platform 

• Solid general skills across electrical, plumbing, HVAC basics, carpentry, and paint 

• Knows the limits: understands when a job needs a licensed electrician, plumber, or HVAC tech 

• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently 

• Professional and courteous when working around guests and staff 

• Able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and stand, bend, and kneel for long periods 

• Own basic hand tools and reliable transportation • Must be 18+ and pass a background check

Nice to have 

• Aerial lift / MEWP operator training card or OSHA 10 

• Poker table or upholstery repair experience 

• EPA 608 certification or HVAC training 

• Experience with commercial kitchen or bar equipment 

• Bilingual English/Spanish
