Field Sales Trainee - Mombasa
Poa! Internet is building a talent pool of ambitious and energetic Field Sales Trainees who are interested in future opportunities within our Commercial team. As a Field Sales Trainee, you'll learn how to connect with potential customers, introduce them to Poa!'s products and build relationships within an assigned territory. You'll receive training, coaching and hands-on experience to help you develop the skills needed to grow into a successful Field Sales Representative.
Role Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage potential customers within your assigned territory and build strong customer relationships.
- Conduct daily field visits, generate leads and build a healthy pipeline of potential customers.
- Educate customers about Poa!'s products and confidently handle questions and objections while following our sales process.
- Achieve monthly sales targets with coaching and support from your Territory Sales Manager.
- Maintain accurate sales records, consistently use the required systems and submit daily sales activity reports on time.
- Build positive customer relationships and support customers during their early experience with the service.
- Observe customer needs, market trends and competitor activity and share useful insights with your manager.
- Build positive working relationships with landlords, property managers and other key stakeholders in your territory.
- Work collaboratively with your team and other departments to achieve shared business goals.
- Participate in training, coaching and other learning activities to continuously build your sales knowledge, skills and capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of a KCSE certificate, with a Certificate, Diploma or Degree in any field also considered.
- Strong interest and passion for sales.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work in a target-driven, field-based environment.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Previous experience in sales, home internet, telecommunications, or working with low-income and informal communities will be an added advantage.
