Position Summary
Xtra Staffing is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Workers to support our client facilities. The Janitorial Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in accordance with client expectations and company standards.
Essential Job Duties
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Restock paper products and cleaning supplies as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals properly
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to supervisor
- Complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening, if required by client
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to push/pull cleaning equipment and carts
