High School Boys' Soccer Head Coach (Stipend)

Position: Head Coach
Employment: Part-time / Seasonal stipend
Reports to: Athletic Director

About the Opportunity
Chattanooga Prep Athletics is seeking a dedicated soccer coach who will develop our high school boys soccer student-athletes on the field and support their growth in the classroom. We are looking for a coach who sets clear expectations,
builds positive relationships, and models accountability, sportsmanship, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and support purposeful practices, player development, and game preparation appropriate to the coaching
  role.
• Teach soccer fundamentals and strategy while building a disciplined, positive team culture.
• Prioritize academics, monitor student-athlete progress, and reinforce CP Athletics participation expectations.
• Communicate consistently with student-athletes, families, school staff, and the Director of Athletics.
• Follow school, athletic department, and applicable TSSAA policies and procedures.
• Maintain appropriate supervision and support player safety and emergency preparedness.
• Coordinate assigned scheduling, travel, equipment, and program responsibilities with the athletic department.

Qualifications

• Soccer coaching or competitive playing experience preferred, with strong knowledge of the game.
• Ability to mentor high school students and support academic and athletic development.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills; availability for practices, games, travel, and meetings.
• Ability to complete required background screenings, coaching credentials, and safety training before coaching.
