The Supply Chain Manager plays a critical role in driving the execution, reliability, and scalability of G&G’s supply chain function. This is a hands-on, highly cross-functional role focused on ensuring materials, components, and finished goods flow efficiently from suppliers through production to customers with high reliability, cost effectiveness, and quality.

Operationally strong and highly collaborative, you bring clarity to demand, supply, and inventory dynamics, establish effective planning and procurement rhythms, and ensure materials are available to support production and customer commitments. You focus on coordination, prioritization, and removing systemic constraints, enabling the organization to scale efficiently.

What roles am I accountable for?

Supply Chain Execution & Planning (35%)

    • Own end-to-end supply chain execution from demand planning through procurement and inventory management.
    • Develop and manage supply plans that align with production schedules and customer demand.
    • Ensure material availability to support manufacturing without overbuilding inventory.
    • Monitor and manage inventory levels, turns, and working capital.
    • Drive accountability for supplier deliveries and internal material readiness.
    • Identify risks to supply continuity and proactively mitigate disruptions.
    • Ensure supply chain operates with urgency, discipline, and predictability.

Supplier Management & Procurement (20%)

    • Own supplier relationships including performance, cost, quality, and delivery.
    • Lead sourcing, supplier selection, and onboarding for new components and products.
    • Negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial terms.
    • Drive supplier accountability for on-time delivery and quality standards.
    • Develop dual sourcing strategies and risk mitigation plans.
    • Collaborate with Engineering on supplier capabilities and design for supply chain.
    • Continuously evaluate supplier performance and drive improvements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Continuous Improvement (20%)

    • Serve as a primary coordination point between Supply Chain, Engineering, Production, and Sales to align supply plans, production schedules, customer commitments, and business priorities.
    • Coordinate material readiness for new product introductions (NPI), supporting smooth handoffs from design and sourcing through manufacturing and delivery.
    • Identify supply chain bottlenecks and drive improvements in forecasting accuracy, supplier performance, inventory efficiency, and material flow.
    • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for shortages, delays, excess inventory, and other recurring supply chain issues.
    • Assist with the evaluation and implementation of an MRP/ERP system and supporting supply chain processes.
    • Develop scalable tools, processes, and reporting to improve visibility, control, and execution as the company grows.

Leadership, Management & Accountability (15%)

    • Lead, manage, and hold accountable supply chain team member(s), providing clear priorities, expectations, coaching, and development to ensure strong execution and continued growth of the function. 
    • Conduct regular 1:1s and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and development.
    • Develop team capabilities through coaching, cross-training, and knowledge sharing to strengthen performance, coverage, and scalability within the supply chain function. 

Inventory Management (10%)

    • Oversee inventory control processes including accuracy, cycle counts, and reconciliation.
    • Support production teams with material availability and issue resolution.
    • Ensure systems accurately reflect inventory, orders, and supply status.

Success in this role means materials are available when needed, inventory is well managed, suppliers perform reliably, and the organization operates with strong supply chain discipline. Production runs smoothly, customer commitments are met consistently, and supply risks are proactively managed.

What will I need to succeed?

  • Must align with our Core Values.
  • 7+ years of supply chain management experience, primarily within manufacturing environments. 
  • Strong ability to manage planning, procurement, and supplier relationships.
  • Experience balancing demand, supply, and inventory across product portfolios.  
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and execution skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to align cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify risks early and proactively drive resolution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage systems and workflows.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain planning tools.
  • Familiarity with industrial/manufacturing supply chains


Salary Range: $120,000–$150,000 annually, based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated expertise. Candidates with extensive, directly relevant manufacturing supply chain experience may be considered toward the higher end of the range.
