Overview

Catholic Health Good Shepherd Hospice is looking for compassionate, caring RNs to provide End of Life care to patients in our 12 bed Inpatient Hospice Unit.

• 3 x 12 hour shifts (7:00AM to 7:00PM) - Rotating Weekends

Our Hospice RN’s:

The Inpatient Hospice RN is responsible for providing nursing care to hospice patients, residents and/or family in our 12 bed unit located at our stand alone facility on the campus of St. Charles Hospital.  

 

Care focuses on on symptom management and pain control.

Our ideal candidate will have knowledge of hospice concepts, philosophy, policies and procedures. Prior experience in home care, hospice and/or oncology preferred.

 

 

Qualifications: 

• Current and valid NY State license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• One to two years recent general bedside nursing experience with good clinical skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

• New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of one year of recent hands on experience
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)

Posted Salary Range

USD $48.00 - USD $64.00 /Hr.
