The Apollo Human Capital team is responsible for managing HC processes and strategic initiatives which span the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, training and development, performance management, organization planning, compensation, analytics, immigration, and employee engagement. Primary Responsibilities:
As an Associate Director, Human Capital Business Partner, you will play a key role in delivering the Human Capital strategy for the businesses you support. You will partner closely with business leaders, employees, and Human Capital colleagues to build trusted relationships, drive key people initiatives, and take increasing ownership of business and stakeholder relationships as you develop in the role.
Partner with HC Business Partners to execute critical Human Capital priorities, including analytics, culture and engagement, performance management, training and development, and employee relations, with increasing ownership of key initiatives and stakeholder relationships over time.
Build trusted relationships with managers and employees across the business, serving as a point of contact and advisor on Human Capital matters.
Analyze Human Capital data to identify trends, develop thematic insights, and inform business and talent decisions.
Develop, enhance, and maintain business-specific and firmwide presentations and materials, including content for town halls, talent reviews, Human Capital analytics, and employee onboarding and offboarding.
Serve as a key user of core HC technology platforms, including Workday and Apollo’s internal employee database system.
Help drive the performance management cycle, owning key components from planning through execution.
Partner with HCBPs and managers on the year-end compensation process, playing an active role in audits, analysis, and process management.
Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and other Human Capital teams across key elements of the employee experience, including engagement, culture, training, and development.
Actively use and test Apollo’s internally developed HC tools, including performance management and talent development agents, and provide structured input to the HC Tech & Data team
Qualifications & Experience
6-8+ years of relevant experience in Human Capital, Consulting, or other related work experience
Bachelor’s degree with a record of academic achievement
Strong analytical skill set is required
Experience with leveraging data to create clear and concise presentations
Must have advanced working knowledge with Excel, including the ability to perform calculations and automation to process large volumes of data
Demonstrated ability to take an idea/topic/initiative and develop a thoughtful first draft
Exercises good judgment and operates with the highest level of discretion and professionalism in all interactions and situations
Clearly communicates progress on deliverables and escalates issues in a timely manner
Early demonstration of business acumen and the ability to articulate, at a high level, how the business works and how their role fits into the broader organization
Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple assignments and roles simultaneously
Strong demonstration of teamwork and collaboration and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Experience in the financial services industry is strongly preferred
Pay Range

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
