Intern, Publications Rebranding Support
Role summary
Health Systems Insight is seeking an intern to support a publication rebranding exercise through a structured mentorship arrangement. The intern will gain practical experience in publication management, branding implementation, quality assurance, and communications workflows within a global health organization.
The role will focus on guided, hands-on support with document review, basic formatting updates, file organization, and quality-control checks. The intern will not be expected to edit technical content or make substantive changes to publication materials.
Key responsibilities
- Publication Rebranding and Quality Assurance – reviewing publications against branding standards, applying approved templates, conducting QA checks, and preparing files for final review.
- Project Coordination and Documentation – maintaining publication trackers, organizing files and repositories, managing version control, and monitoring progress through the rebranding workflow.
- Website and Digital Content Support (if relevant) – reviewing website pages for legacy branding, updating publication links, assisting with content inventories, and supporting website QA activities.
- Project Administration and Operations – supporting meeting coordination, preparing meeting notes, maintaining documentation, and assisting with other administrative activities related to the rebranding effort.

Required skills and qualities
- Strong attention to detail
- Good written English and communication skills
- Basic document formatting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, with confidence working with PDF documents
- Basic experience with Adobe Acrobat or other PDF editing tools
- Ability to follow checklists, instructions, and established processes carefully
- Strong organizational and file-management skills
- Willingness to ask questions, seek clarification, and respond constructively to feedback
Desirable skills
- Experience with document formatting, publication review, or quality control.
- Basic familiarity with branding guidelines.
- Interest in communications, public health, global health, or health systems.
