Overview
The Role
Treasury Analyst
Global Foreign Exchange Risk & Treasury Operations | Hybrid
About the Role
Do you enjoy working with numbers, following global markets, and turning analysis into decisions that make a real difference? As our Treasury Analyst, you'll play a key role in protecting the company from global foreign exchange risk. You'll identify exposures, recommend derivative hedge transactions, and analyze how well our hedging program is working.
This is more than a reporting role. You'll work with internal teams and banking partners, help strengthen Treasury processes, and contribute to transformation projects that use technology and AI to modernize how Treasury works. If you have strong quantitative and analytical skills, close attention to detail, and curiosity about financial markets, we'd like to hear from you.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Quantify global FX exposure: Build reports that measure foreign exchange exposures. Work with internal groups to confirm the exposures are accurate and make adjustments where needed.
- Shape hedging decisions: Review exposures and recommend derivative transactions to hedge or reduce risk.
- Measure what's working: Analyze FX results to judge how effective our hedging strategies are and find ways to improve both the strategies and the processes behind them.
- Stay close to the markets: Monitor financial markets and consult with banking partners to develop better hedging strategies.
- Keep operations running smoothly: Support FX back-office activities, including trade confirmations, settlement follow-up, exception resolution, and reporting, as needed for backup and business continuity.
- Strengthen how Treasury works: Help develop, maintain, and periodically review Treasury policies, procedures, SOPs, operating guides, and workflow documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement: Monitor operational issues and recommend improvements that strengthen controls, reduce risk, improve service delivery, and make better use of Treasury systems and tools.
- Help modernize Treasury with technology and AI: Take part in Treasury projects and transformation initiatives that improve scalability, automation, reporting, data quality, service quality, and collaborator delivery.
- Enhance cash forecasting and management: Support current cash forecasting and cash management initiatives and help improve these processes.
- Take on additional duties as assigned.
