Awapuni Vets is a vibrant mixed animal practice located on the outskirts of Palmerston North. We’re a well-established, community-focused clinic servicing a diverse client base that includes dairy, sheep & beef, and companion animals.

As part of the Totally Vets Group, we offer our team access to a wealth of expertise across the region—including specialist companion animal vets, a regional after-hours clinic, and dairy nutritionists.

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time veterinarian with a special passion for the dairy sector. You will be based out of our Awapuni clinic in Palmerston North, which covers the Manawatu area in combination with our Feilding clinic.

We are looking for a forward thinking Veterinarian with the following key attributes:

• A dairy clinician with experience in all aspects of dairy medicine and herd performance
• Commitment to client service with a professional attitude
• Passionate about dairy clients and dairy farming
• Able to create and drive client programmes
• Confidence to work independently in a busy practice
• Good time management and proven organisational skills
• Displays great interpersonal skills to build relationships
• Willingness to participate in the after–hours roster
