Wildflowers Pediatric Therapy in Duncan, OK is seeking a motivated and energetic Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team. This position is open to both new graduates and experienced therapists.

Job Description/ Full Time

This is an opportunity for a therapist who wants to work with clients in a private practice setting with an amazing team! You will have the opportunity to work with the pediatric population and their families and will focus on the diagnosis and treatment of a range of neuro-developmental disorders. We encourage learning and development and offer a supportive, collaborative work environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS for Physical Therapist Assistant

• Associate’s level degree in Physical Therapy
• Oklahoma State License: PTA
• Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
• Basic computer skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS the Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant

• Experience working in outpatient pediatrics
• Experience working with clients with developmental disorders

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the implementation of treatment plans designed by the physical therapist
• Provide direct treatment to children in engaging developmental therapy activities
• Monitor and provide timely documentation of progress for each therapy session
• Provide feedback to the physical therapist to adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate parents and caregivers on exercises and activities to continue therapy at home
• Follow compliance and ethical standards for best practice in pediatric physical therapy
