Norbert Health

Deployment Operations Manager

Brooklyn, NYFull TimePosted Oct 28, 2026

Norbert Health Overview

Norbert is building autonomous care robots that support healthcare teams.

Our AI sensing platform turns existing robotic platforms into care team members: rounding on patients, capturing contactless vitals, running assessments, documenting in the EMR, and escalating when something’s wrong.

We’re deployed in multiple facilities and monitoring hundreds of patients daily. We’re solving one of healthcare’s hardest problems: a global nursing shortage that will hit 40% by 2030.

We’re a small, international team backed by top-tier VCs, with offices in Brooklyn, Paris, and Montreal. We ship things that matter.

The Position

We’re looking for our first Deployment Operations Manager to own the rollout and daily operation of our robot deployments. You’ll lead our remote operator team, build the metrics system that proves long-term customer value, and work with product and engineering to make our operations faster and more efficient. You’ll be the operational face of Norbert to our customers.

What You’ll Do

  • Own end-to-end deployment plans for new robot installations, from site readiness through go-live and stabilization
  • Serve as the day-to-day operational contact for customers, including on-site visits as needed (about 30% travel)
  • Manage a team of remote operators and improve workflow efficiency
  • Set and track daily, weekly, and monthly goals for each operator and the team, and run regular performance reviews
  • Build and maintain a management system that tracks operator behavior, quality, and deployment health
  • Define and report the success metrics needed to show value
  • Partner with product and engineering to turn operational bottlenecks into requirements, so our workflows get more efficient over time
  • Communicate status, issues, and results to customers and leadership clearly and professionally

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years in program management, implementation, or operations, with at least 2 years managing people
  • Experience operating in healthcare facilities and working closely with healthcare staff
  • A track record of delivering complex rollouts or deployments on schedule
  • Strong data fluency and metrics frameworks
  • Enough technical understanding to discuss system issues with engineers and troubleshoot with operators
  • Experience managing remote contractors
  • Professional, confident communication with external customers and executives
  • Experience with AI tools

Bonus Points

  • Experience standing up physical products at an early-stage company (0 to 1)
  • Experience coordinating deployments or field servicing hardware
  • Experience in healthcare or another regulated environment
  • Experience with robotics, automation, or hardware deployments

What We Offer

  • Real impact: your work helps care for patients today
  • High autonomy and ownership: you’ll define how we operate and succeed
  • The intersection of Physical AI and healthcare: work on the cutting edge of both
  • A talented, excellent, diverse, and international team
  • Equity participation in the company’s future
  • A transparent, mission-driven culture focused on continuous learning
  • Competitive salary and equity
