What you'll do
- Develop and maintain platform firmware and board support packages (BSPs) for Gen2 hardware
- Write and optimize low-level device drivers (SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO, DMA)
- Bring up new boards and SoCs from power-on through functional firmware
- Implement bootloaders, hardware abstraction layers, and power management
- Integrate firmware with RTOS
- Debug hardware/firmware issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG/SWD
- Optimize for performance, memory footprint, and real-time constraints
- Collaborate with silicon, hardware, and application teams on interfaces
Required Qualifications
- BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
- 7+ years embedded firmware / driver development in C (and C++)
- Strong understanding of microcontrollers/SoCs, memory, interrupts, and concurrency
- Device driver and peripheral bring-up experience (SPI/I2C/UART/DMA and similar)
- Board bring-up and debugging with lab tools (scopes, analyzers, JTAG)
- Familiarity with RTOS and Linux kernel driver development
Preferred Qualifications
- ARM Cortex-M/R experience
- Bootloader, secure boot, or OTA update experience
- Video RGB / RGB MIPI (CSI-2) camera-interface and ISP pipeline experience
- Robotics, sensors, or autonomous systems background
Benefits (subject to location and local regulations)
- Competitive salary and equity
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
- 401(k) retirement plan
- Flexible vacation and time-off policy
- Collaborative, fast-paced, and inclusive work environment
