Why This Role Is Valuable   

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Legal & Compliance department as Analyst - Corporate Secretarial
on a 6-month contract
. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality corporate secretarial services and overseeing the day-to-day governance and compliance matters of Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) owned by Blackstone Real Estate Funds across Asia.
The ideal candidate will have a background of at least
3 years’ company secretarial experience with a company secretarial service provider, law firm or an in-house legal/corporate position with a reputable investment firm or MNC.  



How You Add Value 

(including but are not limited to) 

  • Support the corporate secretarial team with the full spectrum of corporate secretarial duties including incorporation, corporate actions and liquidation of entities 
  • Update and maintain statutory registers, corporate records and submission of statutory returns  
  • Assist in capitalisation and distribution processes to ensure compliance with relevant regulations across different entity types  
  • Coordinate the legalisation and apostillisation of corporate documents, and support KYC requests 
  • Track and monitor the accuracy of the legal documents (signature, date, corporate details etc.) and ensure four eye review principles are implemented 
  • Coordinate approvals and regulatory filings, ensuring that execution and approval processes are conducted in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal protocols. 
  • Ensure quality maintenance of company files and registers throughout the entity lifecycle  
  • Maintain the company database and assist in overseeing the digital archiving, legal documents storage and data management processes 
    • Collaborate with Revantage Asia departments (e.g., Treasury, Finance, Tax, Legal, etc.) to ensure smooth and timely running of operations and continuous improvement 
    • Coordinate with executive assistant to arrange for documents execution (printing, scanning, affixation of company stamp and mailing)  
    • Support corporate secretarial team with audit requests 
    • Assist with preparing and updating checklists, processes and procedures 
    • General administration and other tasks needed to support the corporate secretarial team

     

    What You Bring To The Role 

    • Degree / Advance Dip / Dip / Graduate of ICSA or currently pursuing ICSA course.  
    • Experience dealing with offshore entities, especially Cayman Islands and BVI domiciled entities  
    • Experience working with and maintaining strong professional connections with lawyers, auditors, notaries, and service providers 
    • Comfortable to work both independently and as part of a team  
    • Well organized, able to prioritize tasks and meet tight timelines  
    • Able to take direction and ask questions 
    • Eye for detail 
    • Resourcefulness  
    • English language skills (both written and spoken)  

     

    Desirable 

    • Experience as a user or administrator of company secretarial software systems (e.g. Newton, Viewpoint
      and etc.)
       
    • Understanding of private equity real estate business or real estate asset management industry 
    • Proficiency with SharePoint and MS Office 365 applications 
    • Keen interest in utilizing technology for continuous improvemen
