Production Operator – Entry Level

Location: Humble, TX | Department: Production | Full-Time

Position Summary

Reactive Downhole Tools is seeking a dependable, safety-minded Entry-Level Production Operator to perform hands-on production activities in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be willing to learn, follow procedures, and work effectively as part of a team. Manufacturing or oil & gas experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assigned production tasks safely and efficiently.
• Follow safety requirements and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Complete required production documentation and maintain material traceability.
• Follow quality procedures, work instructions, and company processes.
• Properly use and care for tools, equipment, and materials.
• Participate in required safety, training, and continual improvement activities.
• Work cooperatively with Production and other departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to safely learn and operate production tools and equipment.
• Dependable attendance, good situational awareness, and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–2 years of manufacturing or oil & gas experience.
• Downhole tool manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Overhead crane experience.
• Manual lathe operation and setup experience.
• Rubber cutting experience.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and work in various positions.
• Ability to use hand tools and production equipment safely.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.
• Ability to work around industrial machinery, noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
• Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
