About Our Client
Our client is a growing healthcare organization based in New York, providing physical therapy, pain management, and other wellness services through multiple clinics. The organization focuses on delivering personalized care to patients with various orthopedic, neurological, and sports-related conditions, while continuing to expand its healthcare and wellness offerings.
Role Summary
We are looking for a New York State-licensed Nurse Practitioner based in the Philippines to support a U.S.-based healthcare organization through clinical and telehealth services.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for conducting patient assessments, providing clinical guidance, supporting care plans, coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and helping patients better understand their care and treatment.
The ideal candidate has solid U.S. healthcare experience, strong clinical judgment, and excellent communication skills, particularly when working with U.S.-based patients. This is a great opportunity for an experienced NP who is comfortable providing patient care remotely while collaborating closely with a U.S. healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual patient consultations, clinical assessments, and follow-up visits.
- Review patient medical histories, symptoms, medications, laboratory results, and other clinical information.
- Develop and support individualized treatment and care plans within applicable scope of practice.
- Provide patient education regarding medications, treatment plans, preventive care, and chronic disease management.
- Coordinate patient care, referrals, and follow-ups with physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Accurately document patient encounters in the client's EHR/EMR system.
- Monitor patient conditions and appropriately escalate urgent or complex clinical concerns.
- Collaborate with physicians, RNs, care managers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, patient privacy, clinical documentation, and client-specific clinical requirements.
- Participate in chart reviews, quality assurance, and clinical improvement activities as required.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted New York State Nurse Practitioner License – REQUIRED.
- Active U.S. Registered Nurse (RN) License – REQUIRED.
- Current national Nurse Practitioner certification appropriate to specialty (e.g., FNP, AGNP, PMHNP).
- Active Philippine RN license.
- 2–3+ years of professional Nurse Practitioner experience preferred.
- Experience working with U.S. patients or U.S.-based healthcare organizations strongly preferred.
- Telehealth/remote clinical experience is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. healthcare practices, workflows, and clinical documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Proficiency with EHR/EMR and telehealth platforms.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work on a U.S. Eastern Time schedule, including Philippine night shifts when required.
