Senior Salesforce Developer

At CreatorIQ, Salesforce is the backbone of how we run go-to-market — from lead to renewal. As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you'll design and build the Apex, Lightning, Flows and CPQ solutions that power our Salesforce org, working alongside a GTM Manager and a SF admin to turn complex business requirements into scalable, well-tested code and automation. You'll partner directly with the GTM Systems manager to solve for quoting, pricing, and deal automation challenges that a declarative-only approach can't handle. If you have a strong track record shipping production-grade Apex and CPQ solutions in a fast-moving B2B SaaS environment, and you take real pride in clean, maintainable code — this is your seat at the table.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Own custom development across Salesforce: Design, build, and maintain Flows, Apex classes, triggers, and batch, schedulable, and asynchronous jobs, plus Lightning Web Components and Visualforce where needed — writing bulkified, governor-limit-safe code that holds up in production, not just in a sandbox.

  • Build and extend Salesforce CPQ: Configure and customize Product Rules, Price Rules, Quote Templates, Discount Schedules, bundle logic, and Advanced Approvals to support complex, multi-entity deal structuring — and write the Apex behind CPQ logic that configuration alone can't handle.

  • Architect for scale, not just for today: Partner with the Salesforce manager and admin on data model design, sharing and security architecture, and build-vs-configure tradeoffs, keeping technical debt in check as the org and deal complexity grow.

  • Integrate Salesforce with the broader GTM stack: Design and maintain REST/SOAP API integrations and middleware connections (e.g., MuleSoft, HubSpot, n8n) with tools like Gong, HubSpot, Clay, DocuSign, Snowflake, and internal data platforms, ensuring data integrity flows cleanly across systems.

  • Drive quality and reliability: Build flows and write Apex test classes with meaningful coverage, participate in code review, manage releases through a CI/CD pipeline (e.g., Gearset or SFDX/Salesforce CLI), and troubleshoot production issues — including CPQ pricing, approvals, and quoting defects — down to root cause.

  • Mentor and raise the bar: Bring best practices in Apex development, version control, and deployment discipline to the broader Salesforce team, and help level up admins moving into more technical work.

  • Evaluate and apply AI-assisted development workflows: Use AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) to accelerate Apex and LWC development, and evaluate MCP (Model Context Protocol) tooling for connecting AI agents to Salesforce data and workflows.

Who you are and what you’ll need for this position:

  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience: You've built and shipped Apex (classes, triggers, batch/schedulable/async jobs), Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and SOQL/SOSL in a production Sales Cloud environment — ideally at a B2B SaaS company.

  • Deep, hands-on Salesforce CPQ expertise: You've configured Product Rules, Price Rules, Quote Templates, Discount Schedules, bundle configurations, and Advanced Approvals in live implementations, and you understand how quoting logic connects to the broader revenue lifecycle. Experience with Salesforce Billing or Revenue Cloud is a strong plus.

  • Strong command of the Salesforce platform: Solid understanding of the data model, security model (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules), and governor limits, with the judgment to know when to build custom vs. configure declaratively.

  • Comfortable with integrations and APIs: Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and asynchronous Apex patterns for connecting Salesforce to external systems.

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I or CPQ certification is required (Platform Developer II is a strong plus): You keep your skills current with the platform's evolving best practices.

  • Fluent in headless, CLI-driven Salesforce development: Comfortable working outside the point-and-click UI — Salesforce CLI/SFDX, scratch orgs, and the Metadata API for source-driven development and deployment.

  • Hands-on with AI coding tools: Experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) for day-to-day Apex/LWC development, and comfortable evaluating and adopting MCP-based tooling as it applies to Salesforce workflows.

  • Fluent in English (written and verbal): You can translate ambiguous business requirements into clear technical designs and explain tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.

  • A natural collaborator who owns outcomes: You work well alongside architects, admins, and business stakeholders, and take ownership of your code from design through deployment and support.
