Sit-Down Forklift Operator / Pallet Sorter
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Friday–Sunday | 6:00 AM–6:30 PM
Job Summary
We are hiring a dependable Sit-Down Forklift Operator / Pallet Sorter to join a warehouse operations team. This position is responsible for operating a sit-down forklift to move, sort, stack, and organize pallets and materials throughout the facility.
The ideal candidate has previous sit-down forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities will include inspecting pallets for quality, sorting pallets by type and condition, and safely transporting materials to designated areas.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move, load, unload, and transport pallets and materials.
- Sort and organize wooden and plastic pallets based on type, condition, and quality.
- Inspect pallets for damage, defects, and overall usability.
- Stack and organize pallets in designated warehouse areas.
- Maintain an organized and safe work environment.
- Follow warehouse safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
- Meet productivity and accuracy expectations while maintaining safe work practices.
Qualifications
- Previous sit-down forklift experience required.
- Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment.
- Experience sorting, stacking, or handling pallets is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify damaged pallets.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as needed.
- Dependable attendance and ability to work the scheduled weekend shift.
Schedule & Pay
- Pay: $19.00 per hour
- Schedule: Friday–Sunday
- Hours: 6:00 AM–6:30 PM
- Consistent three-day workweek.
