Repair Services Specialist
Listen Technologies builds assistive listening and audio products used in more than 70 countries — theaters, courtrooms, classrooms, houses of worship, and transit hubs.
We’re hiring a Repair Services Specialist to keep our products working in the field. You’ll diagnose and repair customer units at the component and board level, manage returns from intake through return shipment, and talk directly with the people whose equipment you’re fixing.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair customer units at the component and board level
- Test and refurbish advance-replacement and credit returns within published turnaround times
- Manage assigned returns from start to finish, keeping customers updated by phone and email and logging every interaction in our customer records system
- Document repairs in detail — root cause, components used, test results — and flag recurring failures to engineering
- Prepare and maintain demo products, and keep repair parts inventory stocked ahead of demand
What You Bring
- 2+ years of hands-on electronics repair or testing experience
- Component-level troubleshooting, including soldering and circuit board inspection
- Comfortable with digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and reading schematics
- Strong customer service instincts and clear written and verbal communication
- Comfortable documenting work in a customer records system; high school diploma or equivalent
Nice to have: experience with audio, audiovisual, or wireless products; familiarity with product return and warranty processes; audiovisual industry certification.
What We Offer
$20.00 to $27.00 per hour depending on experience, plus medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) with company match, paid time off and holidays, paid parental leave, and support for continuing education and certification.
