Registered Nurse - Learning Disability & Complex Needs Service
Location: Lancing, West Sussex
Pay: £24.00 per hour
Hours: 15 hours per week (2 shifts), with opportunities for additional hours across our Complex Needs Services

Are you a compassionate Registered Nurse looking for a rewarding role where you can build meaningful relationships and truly make an impact?
SDR is looking for an experienced RGN (with Learning Disability experience) to join our specialist supported living service in Lancing. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide person-centred nursing care to a young adult with autism, a learning disability, epilepsy and complex health needs, helping them to live a fulfilling and independent life.
This role offers consistency, autonomy and the opportunity to work as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team committed to delivering outstanding care.
Your Responsibilities
As our Registered Nurse, you will:
- Lead health assessments and develop person-centred Health Action Plans.
- Monitor and respond to changes in physical and mental health.
- Safely administer and manage medication in line with NMC standards.
- Support complex clinical needs, including epilepsy management and PEG feeding.
- Work collaboratively with GPs, community healthcare teams and other professionals.
- Provide clinical leadership, guidance and support to the wider care team.
- Promote safeguarding, quality assurance and best practice.
- Ensure the individual receives exceptional, person-centred care that supports positive outcomes.
About You
You'll be:
- A Registered Nurse (RNLD, RMN or RGN).
- Registered with the NMC with no restrictions.
- Experienced, with at least one year's post-registration practice.
- Confident supporting people with learning disabilities and complex health needs, including epilepsy.
- Compassionate, proactive and committed to delivering high-quality care.
- An excellent communicator with strong clinical judgement.
