About the Role

We're looking for an architectural designer who lives at the intersection of architecture, experience design, and interactive technology.You'll work within our architectural design team – led by senior designers who've delivered some of the most ambitious immersive venues in the world – turning experiential concepts into buildable, operable spaces.

This is a mid-level design role, for someone with roughly 3–6 years of experience who has already proven they can handle complex designs and digital workflows, and wants to apply that skill set to spaces built for wonder rather than efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Develop concept, schematic and design-development-level architectural design for immersive installations, guest journeys, and venue interiors.
• Model and rationalize complex immersive exhibits — taking sculptural design intent and making it fabricable, affordable, and code-compliant.
• Coordinate AV-heavy environments - projectors, sensors, LED, tracking systems — across 2D and 3d environments, working closely with our multimedia and technology teams.
• Support design submissions through DD, CD, and CA phases, including managing 3D model deliverables with consultants and fabricators.
• Prototype: physical mockups, interactive tests, quick-and-dirty proofs of concept that answer real questions before we commit capital.

About You

• Degree in architecture, computational design, or a closely-related field.
• 3–6 years in an architecture or experiential design practice, with at least one project taken through documentation or construction.
• Design experience in exhibits, museums, or other experientially-driven spaces.
• Strong 3D Modeling skills in Rhino (preferred) and/or 3DMax.
• Strong rendering and visualization skills.
• Entry-Level knowledge of Revit/BIM coordination.
• A portfolio that shows both rigor (rationalization, documentation, fabrication logic) and imagination (spaces designed to make people feel something)

Nice to Have

• Comfort with the technical side of immersive media: projection geometry, sensor placement, AV integration, or a demonstrated appetite to learn it fast
• Scripting Experience: Grasshopper, C#
• Digital fabrication experience – CNC, 3D printing, or hands-on installation work
• Experience with interactive or responsive environments (sensor-driven systems, physical computing).
