This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HVAC Project Manager, Senior HVAC Foreman, HVAC Superintendent, or Site Supervisor who is ready to take the next step into project management.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of commercial HVAC installation, knows how to lead people, and takes ownership of getting projects completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

You do not need to have held a formal Project Manager title to be considered. A strong field leader with commercial HVAC experience, sound judgment, accountability, and a willingness to learn the business side of project management may be an excellent fit.

This role offers a balance of office coordination and field involvement, with the opportunity to manage commercial HVAC projects from planning through completion and grow into additional responsibilities over time.

  • Coordinate HVAC mechanics, foremen, subcontractors, general contractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Organize project schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment to keep work moving forward.
  • Monitor project progress, labor, material costs, and budgets.
  • Read and interpret construction blueprints, mechanical plans, and HVAC drawings.
  • Review project plans to identify equipment requirements, materials, labor needs, and potential scope gaps.
  • Perform material takeoffs and help estimate labor, materials, and project costs.
  • Coordinate equipment orders and communicate with vendors regarding specifications and availability.
  • Track project milestones and communicate with general contractors to address scheduling needs.
  • Oversee commercial HVAC installation, including rooftop units, split systems, outside air systems, exhaust systems, kitchen hoods, and grease duct.
  • Conduct periodic job site visits, attend project meetings, and help resolve field-related questions.
  • Maintain project documentation, records, inspections, and progress billing information.
  • Promote safe work practices and maintain accountability across project teams.
  • Build strong working relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience leading HVAC crews, technicians, foremen, or subcontractors.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints, mechanical plans, and HVAC drawings.
  • Working knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment, systems, and installation practices.
  • Understanding of project scheduling, labor coordination, materials, and job site operations.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • A dependable, accountable, and hands-on leadership approach.
  • Ability to manage responsibilities independently while working collaboratively with a close-knit team.
  • Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
