Job description:
PWADC is seeking motivated, athletic and competitive candidates for the position of 2nd Shift Order Selector. Order Selectors work from 3:00pm until all orders have been shipped. The Selector pulls the requested cases by hand and stacks them on a pallet for transport. This position is in a union environment with established production standards which must be met weekly.
Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:00pm-Until Finished. Part Time Order Selectors will work weekends if needed
Pay Rate: $22:50 up to $27
Requirements:
- THIS IS AN EXTERMELY FAST PACED, PHYSICALLY DEMANDING JOB. HEAVY LIFTING UP TO 90 LBS IS REQUIRED.
- Ability to work under a production quota system. Order Selectors must be able to pull an average of 185 cases per hour by the end of their 90 day probation period, and thereafter.
- Probationary Order Selectors must show improvement each week in order to continue their 90 day probation period.
- Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions is required. Temperatures in Perishables range from 0 degrees to -20 degrees.
- There is an extremely strict attendance policy during the 90 day probation period. In the event of an emergency, you must see your manager and have supporting documentation.
- Mandatory Overtime, Weekends and Holidays are required.
- Background and Drug screen required at the time of hire.
