Nursery Manager – Flower Pots Day Nursery, Chesham

Flower Pots Day Nursery is looking for a skilled and experienced Nursery Manager to join our friendly team at our Prestwood branch. This is a joint manager position with a two manager leadership structure. This is a full-time position, offering opportunities for career progression through additional training and promotion within our nursery group.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the safety, well-being, and safeguarding of all children at all times.
• Manage the nursery effectively, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain high standards of practice in all rooms, ensuring correct ratios, and observe and record children’s development through age-appropriate activities.
• Provide a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for children, parents, and staff.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and the nursery team.
• Lead and support your team, ensuring best practices are followed and high standards are consistently upheld.
• Contribute to strategies for increasing nursery occupancy and supporting business growth.

We are looking for someone who:
• Has proven leadership and management experience in early years settings.
• Demonstrates excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare. Level 6 is desirable.
• Is passionate about child development and high-quality childcare.
