The opportunity

We're looking for an MRO Buyer to join our Miramar team for a temporary assignment of up to 6 months, reporting to the Supply Chain and Planning Manager.

You'll support the procurement of commodities including major machined parts, castings, electronic components and mechanical assemblies, alongside responsibility for obsolescence management and subcontracted assemblies.

You'll work across the Supply Chain organization, collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Planning, Customer Service, Quality and leadership.

What you'll be doing

• Procure major machined parts, castings, electronic components and mechanical assemblies.
• Oversee and implement obsolescence management strategies.
• Oversee program management of subcontracted assemblies and highly engineered technical products.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Planning, Customer Service, Quality and leadership across the Supply Chain organization.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in procurement and planning.
• Experience with tactical and strategic supplier development and networking.
• Microsoft Suite proficiency, including Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Desirable: Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems.
• Desirable: Aerospace industry experience.
