Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in asset management, inventory control, warehouse operations, accounting, or a similar role.
- Knowledge of fixed asset accounting principles and inventory management processes.
- Experience using ERP systems or asset management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics) is an advantage.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail and integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the company's fixed asset register, ensuring accurate and complete asset records.
- Record asset acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and retirements in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor, tag, and track company assets while maintaining complete documentation.
- Conduct periodic physical asset inventories and reconcile records with accounting data.
- Coordinate asset issuance, transfers, returns, maintenance, repairs, and warranty tracking.
- Prepare asset reports, inventory reconciliations, and audit-related documentation.
- Investigate and resolve asset discrepancies, including missing or damaged assets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the Finance team and other departments to improve asset utilization, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.
