Masters Level Graduate Student Intern - 2nd Year

Changing Lives At Home Mental Health in Baltimore City may be a perfect internship site for graduate-level students seeking a degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or other human services-related fields with an interest in mental health.  We are committed to the training of students by providing opportunities for meaningful learning experiences. 

Second year students will provide individual and family psychotherapy to adults, adolescents, or children, in the home, community, school, or office, as determined by the needs and/or desires of the client and/or legal guardian for ten (10) clients.  Applicants must be willing to commit to 18 hours per week on site, regardless of graduate school program requirements, and be available for weekly clinical supervision during traditional business hours. 

This is a fee-for-service internship position. Compensation is provided for eligible/billable services based on our compensation chart. No benefits are included.

 Qualifications:

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited graduate level behavioral health program
• Must have completed Psychopathology, as well as course work related to Clinical Diagnoses and Treatment Planning
• Must be willing to submit to and pass federal, state, and Child Protective background check
• Must obtain and provide proof of student malpractice insurance
• Ability to obtain or show proof of current CPR and First Aid Certification
  
• Must commit to a minimum of 2 days per week

• You have basic knowledge of mental health diagnoses (psychopathology), treatment modalities, DSM-5 Criteria and terminology
• You have strong communication and writing skills
