As the first point of contact for many of our patients, you'll play a key role in making every visit feel welcoming, seamless, and stress-free. What You'll Do
- Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit.
- Check patients in and out accurately and efficiently.
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits and obtain required authorizations.
- Complete new patient registration and intake processes.
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions and scheduling needs.
- Collect copayments, deductibles, and other applicable over-the-counter payments.
- Maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance information.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to support efficient patient flow.
- Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality in accordance with organizational policies and applicable regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the clinic.
Additional Job Description
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy clinic environment.
- Professional, compassionate, and welcoming demeanor.
- Previous healthcare, medical office, or patient access experience is preferred.
