Sales Account Manager - HVAC Service Division
Corporate Mechanical of New England is seeking a driven Sales Account Manager to help expand our Owner Direct HVAC and Plumbing Sales division in Woburn, MA. In this role, you will develop new commercial accounts, expand service agreements, and identify maintenance, repair, retrofit, and replacement opportunities. Partnering closely with operations, you'll deliver solutions that help customers maximize the reliability, efficiency, and performance of their building systems. We're looking for a results-oriented sales professional with experience in account management, business development, HVAC, mechanical services, facilities management, construction, or building systems. The ideal candidate excels at building client relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving long-term business growth.
Essential Duties:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial customers, serving as a trusted point of contact for HVAC service needs.
- Develop new business opportunities and grow service agreement, maintenance, repair, replacement, retrofit, and quoted work sales.
- Partner with operations, service supervisors, dispatch, vendors, and subcontractors to support customer needs and deliver responsive service.
- Conduct customer meetings and facility walkthroughs to identify solutions that improve building performance and long-term reliability.
- Prepare, estimate, and present service proposals that align with customer goals and company financial objectives.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline, track opportunities, and contribute to a customer-focused, team-oriented service sales department.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in sales, account management, customer relationship management, or business development.
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC service sales, mechanical contracting, facility services, construction, building systems, or a related industry.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing multiple customer accounts and sales opportunities.
- Customer first approach with a focus on long-term relationships, follow-through, and profitable growth.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust with customers, internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (local travel required).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is a plus, but not a requirement.
- Working knowledge of commercial HVAC, plumbing systems, building automation, or facility operations.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM tools to manage customer activity, proposals, and sales opportunities.
