Gerhart is seeking a experienced Field Project Technicians to join our team and assist in specialized projects. This is your chance to work on challenging, high-impact projects and grow your career while getting rewarded for your expertise.    

What You’ll Do:

• Perform a variety of field services including: installation, calibration, and maintenance of customer equipment
  
• Effectively work alone or with others to complete electrical and mechanical installs of material handling systems and industrial equipment 
• Ability to mechanically and electrically troubleshoot, identify common electrical components, and diagnose malfunctions and repair weighing equipment
• Complete PLC panel wiring and troubleshooting

What You Bring:

• Basic understanding of 120VAC wiring and/or DC signal wiring
  
• Experience with bending and installing conduit (EMT, Rigid, PVC) 
  
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and P&ID's
• Familiar with industrial voltage up to 480v
  
• Equipment operation of scissor lift or boom lift
• Proven work experience of welding and torching
  
• Familiarity with industrial service tools; welding experience is a plus
• Ability to work outdoors in all elements (heat, cold, dust, and dirt)
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed, out of town Travel required up to 30%
• Customer-focused mindset and a self-starter attitude
  
• Strong problem solving & critical thinking skills
• Able to bend, crawl, and lift 50 lb. for extended periods of time in a safe manner
  
• Ability to work neatly and efficiently under pressure
