We’re looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and technology-forward Global Tax Analyst to help scale and strengthen Blackbaud’s global tax operations from India. In this role, you’ll support critical tax processes that enable a growing global business while partnering across Finance, Accounting, Legal, Payroll, Procurement, and external advisors to deliver accurate, timely, and well-governed outcomes.
You’ll play an important role in enhancing tax operations, strengthening reporting processes, and leveraging data, automation, and responsible AI to help modernize how work gets done. What you'll do
• Support global tax operations by preparing calculations, reconciliations, workpapers, documentation, and analyses that contribute to compliance, reporting, and governance activities.
• Deliver high-quality support for India-related tax requirements, including goods and services tax, withholding tax, recurring tax reporting, and coordination with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
• Develop tax models, forecasts, and scenario analyses that support decision-making, planning initiatives, and recurring reporting needs across the global tax function.
• Assist with transfer pricing and intercompany tax activities through data gathering, analysis, documentation preparation, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strengthen audit readiness by organizing supporting documentation, responding to tax notices and assessments, and supporting internal and external audit requests.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, improve data quality, standardize workflows, and leverage tax technology, automation, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions.
What you'll bring
• 4+ years of experience supporting indirect tax, tax reporting, tax operations, transfer pricing, India-related tax matters, or comparable tax functions within a multinational company, shared services environment, or professional services firm.
• Strong knowledge of tax and accounting principles, including compliance processes, reporting requirements, reconciliations, internal controls, and tax documentation standards.
• Experience preparing tax calculations, workpapers, supporting schedules, financial analyses, forecasts, and Excel-based models used for reporting, compliance, audits, and planning activities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with enterprise resource planning systems, reporting and analytics tools, tax technology platforms, Power BI, Alteryx, or AI-enabled solutions that improve operational effectiveness and decision-making.
