Project Manager – Commercial Electrical Construction

Wilkinson Electric is looking for a full-time Project Manager who would like to join a well-established family-friendly company to work on large-scale commercial projects in the Northern Utah areas out of our Springville office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help develop and manage preconstruction budgets and schedules.
  • Oversee project planning, execution, and closeout.
  • Coordinate resources to meet project scope, cost, schedule, quality, and client expectations.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including change orders and billings.
  • Track material and labor costs; ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Review and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Analyze cost reports to assess job progress and forecast outcomes.
  • Monitor unit costs and compare daily site progress against estimates.
  • Conduct site visits to oversee work and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with general contractors, clients, engineers, vendors, and field teams to address schedule, delivery, and payment concerns.
  • Maintain positive project cash flow and regularly report to senior management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of project management experience in commercial or large residential contracting.
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician license (preferred but not required).
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, local codes, and commercial electrical systems.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience (preferred).
