Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop comprehensive functional and automation test cases based on detailed analysis of customer workflows, requirement specifications and use cases
• Create and maintain sophisticated test automation frameworks that interact with hardware, firmware layers, and software components
• Execute hands-on testing across solutions, including validation of hardware-firmware integration and performance benchmarking
• Develop expertise in domain specific solutions and translate their operational workflows into comprehensive test scenarios
• Collaborate with firmware engineers, hardware teams, and product managers to understand technical requirements and customer expectations
• Identify, document, and verify fixes for defects across the hardware, firmware, and application layers
• Optimize test execution and automation frameworks to improve efficiency and reduce time-to-quality.
• Provide technical leadership in QA methodologies, best practices, and test automation architecture
• Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes
• Generate detailed test reports and provide actionable insights to stakeholders on product quality and readiness
Required Qualifications
• 7+ years of hands-on QA engineering experience, with a minimum of 4+ years specifically in solutions testing, functional and automation testing
• Demonstrated expertise in developing test automation frameworks and test cases for ASIC/SOC/firmware based systems
• Strong understanding hardware description languages (Verilog, VHDL), and hardware/firmware design principles
• Demonstrated experience in developed AI based automation frameworks to reduce time to testing
• Proven experience with firmware layer testing and hardware-firmware integration validation
• Proficiency in one or more test automation programming languages (Python, C, C++, SystemVerilog, or Tcl)
• Experience with hardware test equipment, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and embedded system debugging tools
• Proven ability to analyze solution workflows and translate them into detailed, executable test cases
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex hardware-firmware-software integration issues
• Experience working directly with customer environments and understanding production deployment scenarios
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
