Senior Manager, Statewide Campaigns and Communications
About Us
Children’s Hospital Foundation funds cutting-edge equipment, vital research and on the ground support for kids with all illnesses, injuries and conditions, throughout Queensland and northern New South Wales. We identify and action gaps in funding and support right across the kids’ health landscape – the places left lacking but no less deserving.
Care Closer to Home
Every child deserves access to high-quality healthcare, regardless of where they live. Across Queensland, too many children and families face significant barriers to accessing the care they need, with distance, travel, cost and geography all impacting health outcomes and placing additional pressure on families during some of the most challenging times in their lives.
Through our new statewide Care Closer to Home initiative, the Children’s Hospital Foundation is working alongside Hospital and Health Services, communities, regional hospital foundations and other partners to support locally led solutions that strengthen paediatric healthcare across Queensland. Built on partnership, listening and shared responsibility, this initiative will invest in local priorities, build strong regional relationships and mobilise new funding so more children can receive the right care, in the right place, at the right time.
The role
The Senior Manager, Statewide Campaigns and Communications is the accountable lead for the delivery of the Children’s Hospital Foundation’s Care Closer to Home statewide program, including the statewide funding announcements and the inaugural Statewide Giving Day in 2027.
The role supports the Chief Growth Officer with government administration and the coordination of ministerial and Member of Parliament visits, announcements and associated media. It manages the Foundation’s fundraising agency, Donor Republic, and its PR agency, and is responsible for ensuring every deadline and deliverable across the program is met on time and within budget. Working in partnership with hospitals and hospital foundations across Queensland, the role builds the relationships, trust and shared ownership that the statewide program depends on.
