PROPERTY LABORER
Full-Time | Fixed-Term | Big Sky, Montana
October 1, 2026 – March 31, 2027 (estimated) | $30.00/hour
Mountain High Life Management (MHLM) is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Property Laborer to join our team for the upcoming winter season. This is a hands-on role supporting the care, maintenance, safety, and presentation of luxury private homes and properties in Big Sky. You’ll work alongside a team that takes pride in delivering exceptional service and maintaining properties to a high standard.
This position is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with MHLM, build your skills, and potentially continue with the company beyond the winter season. Based on performance, business needs, and mutual fit, there may be opportunities for extended employment and development into other career roles within the company.
What You'll Do
❄️ Property Maintenance & Grounds
- Perform snow removal and shoveling as assigned.
- Complete general and seasonal property maintenance.
- Maintain patios, decks, balconies, exterior windows, and outdoor structures.
- Perform pressure washing and other exterior cleaning as needed.
- Assist with landscaping, including mowing, trimming, pruning, weeding, leaf cleanup, and tree debris removal.
- Help manage firewood, including splitting, stacking, and fireplace maintenance.
- Assist with seasonal and holiday setup, including lights, trees, wreaths, and decorations.
🏠 Property & Equipment Support
- Detail clean client garages, vehicles, mechanical rooms, and utility spaces.
- Monitor propane tank levels and assist with fueling vehicles, equipment, and machinery.
- Assist with hot tub maintenance and monitoring chemical levels.
- Collect and dispose of trash, litter, and debris.
- Support Daily Services and other property needs as requested.
🤝 Team & Guest Service
- Work collaboratively with Property Managers, Operations Managers, and other team members.
- Follow company policies, emergency procedures, and health and safety standards.
- Communicate property concerns and maintenance needs to management.
- Provide regular updates and activity reports.
- Maintain polished, professionalism, excellent etiquette, and respect while working in and around private client homes.

Work Schedule & Requirements
- Full-time, fixed-term position: October 1, 2026 – March 31, 2027 (estimated).
- Availability for irregular and extended hours, weekends, and holidays is required.
- Weekend and holiday hours may be available based on client and business needs.
- Daily commute to Big Sky with coworkers in a company vehicle is required.
- Drive time is paid.
- Must be physically able to lift, bend, climb, walk, shovel, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must be comfortable working around cleaning supplies, maintenance chemicals, and other job-related materials.
- A valid driver's license is required.
Compensation & Benefits
Starting Wage: $30.00/hour
Bi-weekly payroll
Additional benefits include:
- $250 Sign-On Bonus — $50/month beginning 30 days after your start date for five months.
- Paid Drive Time
- Paid Time Off (PTO) — accrual eligibility beginning 30 days after start date.
- Holiday Pay — eligibility beginning 30 days after start date.
- $50/month Cell Phone Reimbursement — eligibility beginning 30 days after start date, based on participation requirements.
- 401(k) — eligibility after six months of employment.
