About the Role
The Driver (CDL) supports construction and operational activities by safely transporting materials, equipment, and products to project sites, fabrication facilities, and company locations, while ensuring timely deliveries and compliance with transportation regulations and company standards. This position involves operating a flatbed truck equipped with an attached forklift.
This is more than a driving position. The right candidate will be comfortable working independently, loading and unloading their own truck when needed, moving materials around jobsites, and helping support our field and warehouse teams when deliveries are not scheduled. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A CDL flatbed truck with an attached forklift.
- Transport materials, equipment, and products to assigned jobsites, project sites, fabrication facilities, and company locations.
- Load, secure, and unload materials independently when required.
- Operate the attached forklift to place and move materials at jobsites.
- Move materials around jobsites to support field crews.
- Complete vehicle inspections and maintain driver logs.
- Follow all DOT, company, and jobsite safety and transportation requirements.
- Coordinate delivery schedules and communicate updates with field crews, warehouse personnel, dispatch, and management.
- Report vehicle or equipment maintenance and safety concerns.
- Maintain delivery documentation and records.
- Assist the field crew with material handling and other tasks when needed.
- Help in the warehouse when there are no deliveries scheduled.
- Keep the truck, forklift, and equipment clean and in good working condition.
- Adapt to changing schedules, weather, jobsite conditions, and daily priorities.
- Perform other related duties as needed to support the team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid Class A CDL required, with a clean or acceptable driving record.
- 2+ years of commercial driving experience preferred; previous flatbed driving experience preferred.
- Experience operating a forklift/Moffett or similar truck-mounted forklift preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and vehicle operations preferred.
- Ability to safely load, unload, secure, and move materials.
- Ability to work outdoors and in changing weather and jobsite conditions.
- Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded, with a positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
- Good communication skills and professional interaction with customers and coworkers.
- Must be willing to assist with warehouse and field duties when deliveries are not scheduled.
- Bilingual preferred.

- Travel: 75–100% depending on delivery routes and project support needs.
