About the Role
HeyTutor has partnered with a school site in The Bronx, New York to provide high-impact, in-person tutoring to elementary school students. Applicants must have completed an Associate’s degree or higher.
We are hiring ELA and Math Tutors to support students in grades 3rd-5th. This is a great opportunity for college students, aspiring educators, and education professionals looking for consistent hours, competitive pay, and meaningful work in their community.

Pay & Benefits
- $32-$38 per hour, based on education and experience

Schedule
- Monday–Friday availability required
- Must be Available from 8:00am-4:00pm
Requirements
- Completed AA degree or higher
- Experience working with children or tutoring preferred
- Comfortable tutoring Elementary School ELA and Math
- Ability to manage large groups of students independently
- Comfortable working in a classroom setting
- Ability to pass an FBI-DOJ in-person background check
Key Responsibilities
- Tutor groups of students without direct teacher supervision
- Deliver lessons using provided curriculum and materials
- Create an engaging, welcoming learning environment
- Support positive student behavior and participation
- Track attendance and student progress using the HeyTutor Dashboard
- Assist with student assessments when requested
- Escort students to and from designated areas on campus
- Clock in/out daily using Deputy
- Complete additional duties as assigned
