What the job looks like?

The Legal Counsel will have the opportunity to:

  • Support and lead assigned projects, ensuring milestones are met in collaboration with other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with group entities and departments.
  • Support and lead assigned licensing projects in various jurisdictions from time to time.
  • Support in dispute resolution and legal proceedings, where necessary.
  • Liaise with external authorities, legal counsel, and service providers.
  • Review, negotiate, and draft legal documentation and agreements.
  • Obtain and review relevant legal opinions from various jurisdictions.
  • Provide legal support for the PSP, banking, and finance team, including agreements, forms, and KYC of group companies.
  • Support the Legal Department in various projects, including renewals of licenses and insurances.
  • Conduct legal research and provide legal advice.
  • Handle fake sites, including reporting and removal.
  • Maintain company documents and arrange for certifications.
  • Complete and/or review forms, documentation, and agreements, including related administrative tasks.
  • Provide timely advice on commercial, IP, data protection, employment, and other operational legal issues that may arise from time to time.
  • Provide ad-hoc support where necessary.

What will you need to be able to do the job?

  • Legal professional, holding a minimum LLB.
  • 3-5 years of experience, preferably within the Forex industry.
  • Experience working across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong task management abilities.
  • Proactive and results-driven approach.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Organised and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple legal matters simultaneously.
