What the job looks like?
The Legal Counsel will have the opportunity to:
- Support and lead assigned projects, ensuring milestones are met in collaboration with other stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with group entities and departments.
- Support and lead assigned licensing projects in various jurisdictions from time to time.
- Support in dispute resolution and legal proceedings, where necessary.
- Liaise with external authorities, legal counsel, and service providers.
- Review, negotiate, and draft legal documentation and agreements.
- Obtain and review relevant legal opinions from various jurisdictions.
- Provide legal support for the PSP, banking, and finance team, including agreements, forms, and KYC of group companies.
- Support the Legal Department in various projects, including renewals of licenses and insurances.
- Conduct legal research and provide legal advice.
- Handle fake sites, including reporting and removal.
- Maintain company documents and arrange for certifications.
- Complete and/or review forms, documentation, and agreements, including related administrative tasks.
- Provide timely advice on commercial, IP, data protection, employment, and other operational legal issues that may arise from time to time.
- Provide ad-hoc support where necessary.
What will you need to be able to do the job?
- Legal professional, holding a minimum LLB.
- 3-5 years of experience, preferably within the Forex industry.
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong task management abilities.
- Proactive and results-driven approach.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Organised and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple legal matters simultaneously.
