Heartline Staffing is recruiting a Purchasing Lead for a hybrid opportunity in Dearborn, Michigan. This role focuses on strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, contract management, and cost optimization for a growing digital marketing organization.
You'll manage sourcing activities across marketing, advertising, software, technology, and professional services while partnering with Finance, Legal, Security, and business leaders to improve supplier relationships and deliver measurable savings.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Lead End-to-End Strategic Sourcing For Marketing, Advertising, Technology, And Business Services
• Manage Supplier Selection, Competitive Bidding, And Contract Negotiations
• Develop Sourcing Strategies That Improve Quality, Reduce Costs, And Mitigate Risk
• Analyze Total Cost Of Ownership (TCO) And Document Cost Savings And Avoidance
• Partner With Legal, Finance, Security, And Privacy Teams On Contracts And Supplier Assessments
• Manage Indirect Spend Categories And Supplier Relationships
• Evaluate Supplier Performance, Financial Stability, And Contractual Risks
• Present Sourcing Recommendations And Financial Analyses To Senior Leadership
• Improve Purchasing Policies, Processes, And Sourcing Workflows
• Use ERP, Contract Management, And AI-Enabled Tools To Improve Efficiency
• Support Purchase Order Management And Invoice Tracking

Requirements
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration Or Related Field REQUIRED
• 5+ Years Of Strategic Sourcing Experience With Marketing And IT-Related Spend REQUIRED
• 5+ Years Of Contract Negotiation Experience REQUIRED
• 4+ Years Of Experience Developing Sourcing Strategies And Driving Initiatives REQUIRED
• 4+ Years Of Experience With Digital Media, Advertising, And Marketing Industries REQUIRED
• 4+ Years Of Experience Sourcing Technology, Software, Consulting, Or Staff Augmentation Services REQUIRED
• Experience With ERP, Contract Management, And Sourcing Workflow Systems REQUIRED
• Strong Understanding Of Contract Terms, Supplier Risk, And Total Cost Of Ownership REQUIRED
• Experience Managing End-to-End Sourcing Activities And Supplier Negotiations REQUIRED
• Ability To Present Recommendations And Build Relationships With Executive Stakeholders REQUIRED
• Working Knowledge Of AI-Enabled Tools And Their Appropriate Business Applications REQUIRED
• Proficiency In Microsoft Word, Excel, And PowerPoint REQUIRED
Preferred Qualifications
• MBA Or Finance Degree
• Experience Developing And Implementing Sourcing Methodologies
• Experience With Gatekeeper, NetSuite, Or Comparable Systems
• Experience Improving Strategic Sourcing Policies And Processes
