Accountant (m/f/d)

We are strengthening our Finance and Accounting Team in Luxembourg and are hiring an Accountant (m/f/d). You’ll join a collaborative, high-performing finance team that manages the full accounting lifecycle for our Luxembourg entities. This is a hands-on position with broad exposure across financial operations, reporting, and cross-border coordination.

What you'll do:

• Oversee day-to-day transactions including postings, reconciliations, receivables and payables

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including accruals and deferrals in accordance with Lux GAAP / IFRS

• Support preparation of annual financial statements of holding and service companies

• Compile internal and external financial reports to support management and audit requirements

• Act as main contact for tax advisors and auditors

• Prepare and file VAT returns in line with local regulations

• Issue invoices, support the budgeting process and perform interest calculations

• Contribute to process improvements and ad-hoc finance projects within the team

What you’ll need:

• University degree complemented by relevant certifications (ACCA, Luxembourgish Accountant or similar)

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in accounting under Lux GAAP

• Experience preparing financial statement process under Lux GAAP and familiarity with other GAAPs is a plus

• Sound understanding of VAT and local tax compliance

• Understanding of Improvements of existing processes

• Good experience with MS-Office required, familiarity with Sage BoB, WORKDAY and DATEV advantageous

• Fluent in English, Fench and/or German are an advantage

• Proactive, detail-oriented and analytical, with a strong sense of ownership and teamwork
