Business Development Specialist/Senior Specialist
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated, proactive, and analytical Business Development to join our growing team. As a BD, you will drive the expansion of our travel product portfolio by independently identifying, onboarding, and managing relationships with travel suppliers.
This role is open to candidates who have a strong "hunter" mindset, a structured analytical approach, and a high sense of ownership. We welcome entry-level who are quick learners, demonstrate strong logical reasoning, and align well with our fast-paced company culture.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supplier Sourcing & Partnership Management
- Independently research, identify, screen, and onboard premium travel suppliers.
- Lead commercial negotiations, draft contract agreements, and manage the full onboarding lifecycle.
- Nurture and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing supplier partners.
2. Market Analysis, Costing & Pricing
- Stay up-to-date with trends and dynamics in both domestic and international travel markets.
- Conduct rigorous product cost accounting, manage margin analysis, and optimize pricing strategies to ensure market competitiveness.
- Monitor every stage of the product lifecycle to ensure flawless execution and cost-efficiency.
3. Product Planning & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Own product project planning and work closely with suppliers to verify resource availability and operational feasibility.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to drive product promotions and campaigns.
- Track product performance post-launch and iterate on product offerings based on user feedback.
4. User Experience Optimization
- Develop a deep understanding of user needs and pain points.
- Proactively identify opportunities to elevate the product and service quality across all touchpoints (pre-trip, during the trip, and post-trip support).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Language: Business fluency in English (written and verbal) is required to collaborate across global teams and partners.
- Experience: Prior experience in Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), traditional travel agencies, or travel supplier environments is a strong plus. However, entry-level level is welcome if they can demonstrate rapid learning ability, strong concept comprehension, and a proactive attitude.
