Job Description:

Kodifly is looking for a Product Designer who can do more than make the product usable, you will make it marketable and sellable. This role owns the end-to-end design of our web-based applications: understanding user and business needs, designing interfaces that are intuitive and visually compelling, and working hand-in-hand with engineers to ship what you design. You will also bring a commercial lens shaping how the product looks, feels, and positions in the market so it is easier to sell.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product & User Experience Design:

● Conduct user research to understand pain points, workflows, and user needs.

● Design user interfaces and interaction models that are intuitive, responsive, and

visually compelling.

● Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to propose and validate solutions.

● Own design execution in Figma, ensuring high-quality, consistent visual design across

the product.

● Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and

analytics.

2. Designing for Market Fit & Sellability:

● Design with a commercial lens, make the products look, feel, and positioning easier

to market and sell, not just easier to use.

● Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform design decisions that

strengthen the product's market appeal.

● Translate business goals and customer insights including input from sales and support

into design choices that support commercial outcomes.

● Contribute to product vision and roadmap discussions from a design and user-

experience perspective.

● Support product demos and pitches with design assets that help tell a compelling

product story.

3. Collaboration with Engineering:

● Work closely with engineers throughout the build to make sure designs are technically

feasible and implemented accurately.

● Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) to keep

design and engineering timelines aligned.

● Estimate design-related tasks and collaborate with the development team on

prioritization.

● Maintain design documentation, specs, style guides, and prototypes so engineers

can build from a single source of truth.

Required Skills:

● Proven experience in UX research and UI design for web applications.

● Strong proficiency in Figma is essential.

● Strong understanding of design systems and systems thinking (must-have).

● Self-motivated with a proactive, go-getter attitude (must-have).

● Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is highly desirable.

● Understanding of business and market dynamics, experience aligning design

decisions with commercial goals or product positioning is a strong plus.

● Comfortable working directly with engineers; able to estimate and scope design work

within an agile process.

● Familiarity with data/analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Hotjar) is a plus.

● Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

● Team-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.

● Knowledge of AI tools and their applications in design.

Additional Notes:

● Experience working with Agile teams.

● Familiarity with SaaS products.

● Experience designing for B2B or B2G products.
